Staycation program launches at Nickerson Beach in effort to keep residents local
Starting in July you can rent a cabana for two weeks for $500. The rentals also include six pool passes.

Starting in July you can rent a cabana for two weeks for $500. The rentals also include six pool passes.
It's all part of an effort to keep residents close to home and help support local businesses.
"We're really on the rebound. Our economy is coming back and there are many businesses around here that continue to ask for your support," says Nassau County Executive Laura Curran. "Our whole ecosystem of the economy, this site right here is a really important part of that ecosystem."
