A resolution has been reached in an alleged Valley Stream squatter case.

Susan Dobson moved her elderly father out of his Valley Stream home last year and put his house on the market. In March, she says her realtor found squatters in the home.

Tania Caraballo, who is living in the home, says she has been paying rent to a man since January. She says she found the home on Craigslist.

A court has ordered Caraballo out of the home by July 15.

If Caraballo doesn't comply with the July 15 date, the costs of bringing in the sheriff's department to remove her will fall on the homeowner.
