You don't have to go far to enjoy a relaxing weekend by the water. Montauk has something for everyone from sun up to sun down.

There are plenty of resorts that line the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. There are also a variety of places to rent a kayak or go hiking. There are even whale-watching tours!

Head up to the Montauk Point Lighthouse for a spectacular view of the coastline. Or charter a boat for some fishing.

If you just want to relax and enjoy the outdoors, try a meal on the water. Gosman's Dock and the Montauk Surf Lodge feature outdoor dining and delicious seafood. The Surf Lodge also features live bands on some nights.

And of course, don't forget about the beaches and plethora of shops and boutiques.
