Two trucks went up in flames by the North Sea Transfer Station, according to Southampton Police.
The police department says they received multiple 911 calls just before 8 a.m. on Saturday for reports of smoke coming from the North Sea Transfer Station on Majors Path.
First responders arrived and found a roll-off truck and tractor-trailer cab both on fire. Flames began to expand to the front of a nearby repair shop. Crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading further.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
