An historic church in Southampton has received a rare honor from Pope Benedict XVI. The 105-year-old Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Roman Catholic Church was given the title of "Minor Basilica." Just 70 churches in the U.S. have been bestowed that title. The diocese says the church was chosen because of its architectural, historical and spiritual importance to the community. Parishioners say they're thrilled to hear their beloved church received such a high honor.
