The long-time Smithtown supervisor is not being backed by his party for another term in office, sources tell News 12.
Republican Supervisor Pat Vecchio is the longest serving supervisor in state history. Sources say he has been dropped from the town Republican ticket.
Councilmembers Lynne Nowick and Thomas McCarthy were also dropped.
Vecchio has vowed to run a primary with them.
