A Valley Stream man accused of stealing a large safe from a Cedarhurst shoe store has been charged with burglary.
Suffolk police say 54-year-old Frank Cirillo took the safe containing cash from Jildor shoes on Central Avenue on June 25.
It is unclear how much money was inside the safe.
Police say he was arrested following an extensive investigation.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
