OVERNIGHT: Intermittent showers possible overnight, patchy fog.
SUNDAY: Much cooler with temperatures in the lower 50s and higher 40s. It will be cloudy throughout the day and damp with some passing showers. Steadier rain moves in during the evening and is on-and-off until we have a stronger line of storms moving through on Monday.
MONDAY: There is a Level 1 risk for thunderstorms, but the majority of eastern Nassau and Suffolk County is in a non-severe risk. Plan to remain weather-aware for the first day of your work and school week. The timing of this looks to be moving through Monday evening and into early parts of the night.
NEXT WEEK: Temperatures continue to flip flop around for the next week. We are much cooler on Sunday, then back into the 60s for Monday, the 50s for Tuesday, and even into the 40s on Wednesday. The end of the week has a warmup into the 60s for Thursday and Friday.
