Shooting threat prompts West Babylon Senior High School to go remote Friday

This threat came after the school sent out a letter to parents about other posts on social media alleging harassment and sexual assault in school.

Students at West Babylon Senior High School were on remote learning Friday after a threat of a potential shooting.
Social media posts showed what appears to be a student with a gun and the words "I'll start shooting ... I hate that school."
This threat came after the school sent out a letter to parents about other posts on social media alleging harassment and sexual assault in school.
Officials are urging parents whose children may be victims to reach out to police immediately.
Police are now investigating.
