Two Shirley teens are accused of sexually abusing a developmentally disabled bowling alley worker.

According to police, 19-year-old Steven Rodriguez and 17-year-old Michael Lunsford followed the 21-year-old maintenance worker into the alley?s bathroom and sodomized him with a plumbing snake for several minutes. Police are calling the incident, which occurred Sunday, a ?sadistic assault.?

The victim remains in the hospital. He suffered severe pain, internal injury and bleeding. Rodriguez, who has three prior arrests for violent behavior, and Lunsford are being charged with aggravated sexual abuse. If convicted, they face up to 25 years in prison.
