Authorities say 26 fire departments responded to a brush fire in Plainview Tuesday afternoon.
They say the flames broke out along Spagoli Road just before 1 p.m.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control around 3 p.m.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital for a minor injury and three others were treated at the scene.
Officials say several acres of land burned.
