A federal judge has thrown out the sex abuse conviction of a Selden man, saying he was convicted on false information.

Thomas Green, 66, was convicted in 2008 of sexually abusing three girls and was sentenced to 35 years in prison. The judge says he threw out Green's conviction because stories from the three alleged victims told at the trial were fake.

Suffolk County's District Attorney has 90 days to decide if it will retry Green.
