The parents of a 9-year-old Seaford boy say the behavioral therapist at his elementary school repeatedly locked him in a closet.
Mathew Grogan's parents have filed a notice of claim against the Seaford School District. They say their son is in special education classes and claim his behavioral therapist would take him out of the classroom and lock him in an elevator closet alone.
The Grogans say they are also upset because the district has asked the behavioral therapist to return for the upcoming school year. The district refused to comment.
