Police say the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on eastbound Route 17, by Exit 122 in Wallkill.
There were eight students on the bus, but luckily no one was injured.
Police say strong sun glare likely caused the first crash, triggering a chain-reaction.
The crash has been cleared.
