Sayville restaurant says goodbye to the community after 65 years

A restaurant that has called Suffolk County home for more than six decades is now closed.
Metros on Main, which was formerly Sayville Pizza, served its last customers over the weekend, the owners announced on social media.
The popular eatery at 60 Main Street changed their name three years ago, expanding the menu and switching the decor.
“A final meal, so that we may say goodbye to our patrons from the last 65 years,” the owners said on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
“We wanted to warmly thank everyone and the town of Sayville for all their support,” the post continued.
Their final day in business was Sunday.
