It may not be Halloween yet, but Santa seems ready to start the holiday season in Westchester.
Santa Claus arrived at Kensico Dam Plaza Wednesday in a red convertible.
He was there alongside Westchester officials to announce this year's Winter Wonderland Holiday Light Extravaganza.
The popular light show will be a drive-thru this year, stretching 1.2 miles with large displays, live characters and Santa.
Westchester's Winter Wonderland is presented by Westchester Medical Center and begins Nov. 27.
Officials say that proceeds from the event will benefit the Westchester Parks Foundation.
