11ds agoThe West Babylon School Board voted Tuesday to close Forest Avenue Elementary School.
The district previously said that renting out Forest Avenue Elementary School could generate as much as $880,000.
As previously reported, a group hired by the district to study the situation recommended closing Forest Avenue Elementary School because it has the fewest students of any district school north of Sunrise Highway.
