A Greenport man is under arrest and accused of raping a woman at a Peconic beach.
Southold police say Rudy Orlando Cruz-Ventura attacked a Greenport woman he knows on Tuesday night at Goldsmith's Inlet Beach in Peconic.
Ventura was arrested a short time later on Shelter Island.
