Route 110 in East Farmingdale reopened after vehicles reportedly stuck in flood waters

Authorities shut down Route 110 around 2 p.m. in both directions, and later reopened the road about an hour later.

Route 110 in East Farmingdale reopened near Conklin Street after several vehicles reportedly became stranded in floodwaters, according to Suffolk County police.

Police said they received reports of vehicles stuck in the flooded roadway around 1:30 p.m. They did not say how many vehicles were involved.

Authorities shut down Route 110 around 2 p.m. in both directions, and later reopened the road about an hour later.
