A Roslyn Heights digital artist now has a part of her work on the moon.
Moni Meigani was one of several artists whose work was curated by Space Blue and BitBasel to be included in the Lunaprise Moon Museum.
Her project, called "Women Life Freedom," focuses on gender equality.
It was sent on a disc with work from other artists to the moon on a spacecraft on Feb. 15 from Cape Canaveral. The artwork made landing on the moon on Feb. 23.
The artwork will be archived for over a billion years in vaults on the moon.
