The backlash continues over the newest cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Some retailers are taking action, saying the Boston Marathon bombing suspect appears more like a star and less like an alleged terrorist.

The August cover features a shaggy-haired Dzokhar Tsarnaev and will go on sale tomorrow.

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino has written a letter to the magazine's publisher explaining his opposition to the cover.

Other public officials say the cover is sending the wrong message.

Rolling Stone Magazine released a response saying "The fact that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is young, and in the same age group as many of our readers, makes it all the more important to examine the complexities of this issue and gain a more complete understanding of how a tragedy like this happens."

Meanwhile, national drugstore chains CVS and Walgreens now say they will not carry the issue on store shelves.



CVS is head-quartered in New England and has more than 15,000 locations nationwide.
