Rocky Point residents will vote today whether to approve extra money needed to finish a new fire house.
The Rocky Point Fire District says the new facility on King Road is nearing completion.
However, as News 12 has reported, money from the $7.25 million bond approved to build it three years ago has run out. The district is now asking for a $1 million bond.
Voting is being held between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the fire district's Shoreham station located on Route 25A.
