Ride for Life, a Montauk to Manhattan journey for sufferers of Lou Gehrig?s Disease and their families, is a personal journey to find a cure.
Dozens in wheelchairs and dozens more on foot embarked on the 150-mile journey to raise awareness for the disease and the need for a cure.
This year?s event was founder Chris Pendergrast?s 11th ride with his family. He says he hopes a treatment will come in his lifetime.
