People headed back to malls the day after Christmas to either buy or make returns as online shopping reached a record high for the holiday season this year.
Some stores have changed their rules for returns to make it safer for shoppers during the pandemic like extending their return policies or allowing returns curbside.
Crystal Rodriguez, of Massapequa, says she didn’t see too many making returns at the outlets in Deer Park. She believes there were fewer people disappointed with their gifts.
Eric Demaille, of West Islip, believes coming to the store is still easiest.
