A grand donation is coming by way of a restaurant’s grand opening.
Avocado’s Kitchen presented David Reisinger with a check for more than $10,000.
It’ll go a long way for the North Babylon High School graduate. His mother died during the pandemic, and his father has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
"It really amazes me. I'm going to keep trying my best to just be a genuine person and I'm going to keep going and hope it works out well,” says Reisinger.
Avocado’s Kitchen donated 30% of its grand opening earnings to the family, plus proceeds from an online fundraiser.
