? Residents in one north Bronx neighborhood want the Department of Transportation (DOT) to install traffic lights along a road they call dangerous.
Homeowners say speeding vehicles, no crosswalks and several nearby schools make Mace Avenue a disaster waiting to happen. Residents say warning signs that the DOT put up are a step in the right direction, but there is room for improvement. They want traffic lights, which they say are needed because Mace Avenue does not have any for blocks.
Community Board 11 has stepped in and plans to ask the DOT again to install traffic lights.
