Residents flocked to the second day of the annual Oyster Fest in Oyster Bay on Sunday.
Organizers say the weekend's beautiful weather drew a crowd of over 200,000 people to the event.
"It's good for everybody, and what people sometimes don't see is that this is a fundraiser," says Walter Imperatore, of the Rotary Club of Oyster Bay. "At the end of the day, there are about 30 food groups and everyone in a booth is raising money for a not-for-profit."
Over two dozen volunteers were at the event, shucking as many as 60,000 oysters to feed the crowd.
Despite organizers' attempts to run shuttles from nearby parking lots to accommodate the crowd, many people still found parking an issue and had to find spots far from the festival.
The event is in its 33rd year.
