A Suffolk hospital is moving ahead with plans to buy the John J. Foley nursing home from the county.
The board of directors at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital have approved the contract to buy the Yaphank facility for $15 million, according to Newsday.
As News 12 reported last October, Suffolk was going ahead with the deal.
Brookhaven Memorial Hospital plans to provide adult day care, drug services, outpatient care and other services.
