Investigators have reportedly ruled that friendly fire killed a Nassau cop in March of last year.
Nassau Special Operations Officer Geoffrey Breitkopf was killed last March after being shot by a MTA cop in Massapequa Park.
The Nassau DA's office has been investigating Breitkopf's death for nine months now. A final report on the shooting is expected by the end of this month, according to Newsday.
