Snow is accumulating this morning on untreated surfaces. Untreated surfaces will remain snow covered and icy through the weekend with temperatures below freezing until Tuesday. A bitter cold breeze arrives this afternoon replacing clouds with sunshine and temperatures that feel like they're in the 20s.
Sunday is very cold. Morning temperatures will feel like they're near 0 degrees with afternoon wind chills in the teens. Actual temperatures will start off in the teens and only rise into the mid 20s, despite ample sunshine.
The wind relaxes on Monday, but temperatures remain cold under ample sunshine. Clouds will roll in for Tuesday morning with a stray rain or snow shower early. Conditions improve for Wednesday and should be good for Christmas and the first night of Hannukah.
Beyond this, things look quite mild! Temperatures will jump above freezing at night for the end of the week with daytime highs in the 40s. This will eliminate any threats for winter weather through New Years.
