Heavy rain and strong winds are expected throughout most of the morning across Long Island.

Thunderbolt 12 is checking in with flood-prone areas in Suffolk County to give you real-time updates as you prepare for your commute and go throughout your day.

Earlier this morning, a few dozen people lost power along Harbor Road in Cold Spring Harbor after the storm pulled down power lines.

Police temporarily closed the road between Woodbury and Lawrence Hill roads.

PSEG crews were on the scene and worked quickly to get power back on the grid.
