The Real ID deadline is fast approaching.
If you haven't gotten your Real ID yet - the deadline is Wednesday.
Starting Wednesday, adults will have to present a Real ID driver's license in order to board a domestic flight.
Travelers will still be able to use passports as an alternative form of identification at airports.
Processing times and fees vary. It could take up to 20 days to get a hard copy of the ID.
"Need some identification obviously. Your passport or birth certificate and then also you're going to need two forms of where you live, where you reside. You bring them in and it's a pretty smooth process," says Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Tony Guerrera.
Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents can apply for a license or Real ID card.
