The St. Raymond's boys hoops team is riding high after winning the 2007 Gatorade International Shootout in Puerto Rico.
The Ravens were the only mainland team to participate in the event. St. Ray's beat out Carmen Del Sol 65-62, one of the four contests the team won in Puerto Rico.
St. Ray's was victorious with help from forward Kevin Parrom and shooting guard Darryl Bryant. Parrom was the MVP with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
The Ravens went into the tourney, from Dec. 26 through Dec. 29, undefeated at 7-0. The team, now 11-0, is ranked No. 2 in some city polls.
