PSEG Long Island is being tested again with the third snowstorm in its first month on the job.
Utility trucks have been scattered throughout Long Island since before the storm began.
PSEG officials say Roslyn Heights, Muttontown and Oceanside were among the areas with the most outages.
As of 10 p.m., more than 1,600 customers are without power.
