PSEG crews assisting PG&E in California amid wildfires
Workers from PSEG Long Island are in California helping to get the power back on as wildfires ravage parts of the state.
West coast power company PG&E cut electricity to millions of people trying to avoid more fires.
PSEG Long Island sent 25 line workers and four supervisors to Northern California to help out.
They'll be checking utilities in the Sacramento area to make sure it's safe to restore power to customers.
The 29 PSEG Long Island employees are part of the 1,000 electric workers from the North Atlantic Assistant Group that PG&E asked to come help in California.
