Moments after winning, protesters rushed the stage with a Palestinian flag claiming Congressman-elect Tom Suozzi supports genocide and calling for a ceasefire overseas.

The protesters were escorted off the stage immediately.

After that, the crowd then started chanting Suozzi’s name again as he began his victory speech.

As News 12 has reported, Suozzi has been pushing for a bipartisan deal on foreign aid that would include more money for Israel amid the Israel-Hamas war, where over 28,000 Palestinians have been killed since Oct. 7.

News 12 reached out to Suozzi about the comments and are waiting to hear back.
