Princess Bridals in Farmingdale is teaming up with Brides Across America to give away 55 free wedding dresses to local heroes.
It's part of a collaboration with Brides Across America and to celebrate the shop 55th year in business.
The dresses will be given to brides who are members of the military, police officers, firefighters, nurses and EMS.
Charles Prokop, owner of Princess Bridals, told News 12 that brides have until Nov. 1 to register online through the Brides Across America website.
"These girls have been dreaming of this day since they were a little girl, and we want to make that happen for them. Some of the service members are overseas…and they need to get married. They have a short window – so we want to help them get that dream dress." Prokop said.
Brides can pick out their free dresses at Princess Bridals from Nov. 1-10.
