3ds agoThousands of Long Islanders are expected to head to the polls to cast their ballots for early voting.
Polls opened at 9 a.m. Saturday in Nassau and 10 a.m. in Suffolk. Nassau County has 27 early polling locations and Suffolk has 28.
Early voting lasts through Sunday, Nov. 2.
Voters News 12 spoke with say early voting makes the process more convenient.
“No long lines, everything’s fine. 1, 2, 3," said Hank Kiesehuer, of Bethpage.
“I think just in general though it’s just important for everyone to get out and vote," said Jennifer Castle, of Bethpage.
Here are the early voting locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties:
