A Melville woman accused of driving drunk and fatally striking an e-bike rider was arrested early Saturday morning, according to police.
Authorities say Jennifer Kirkpatrick hit the victim just after 1 a.m. near Bagatelle Road and Express Drive South.
They say 28-year-old Joseph Melendez, of Wyandanch, was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Kirkpatrick was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
