With New York's presidential primary looming, the Democratic and Republican challengers are making a final push for votes across the state on Monday.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton plans to rally at the New York Hilton Midtown around noon with U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-New York) and former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. Giffords was in Dix Hills on Sunday in support of Clinton's push for gun control.
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) plans to rally at Hunter's Point South Park in Long Island City, Queens, with actor Danny Glover.
A recent CBS/New York Times poll shows Clinton with 53 percent of Democratic voters' support compared with 43 percent for Sanders.
Another recent poll shows Donald Trump with 54 percent of Republican voters' support compared with 21 percent for U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio) with 19 percent.
Trump, who held an event on Staten Island on Sunday, plans to hold a rally in Buffalo later in the day. Kasich will make appearances in Syracuse and Schenectady.
Cruz, whose comment about "New York values" alienated some New York voters, has done little campaigning in the state, but he participated in a "Good Morning America" town hall discussion in Times Square on Monday.
The primary is Tuesday. The polls open at 6 a.m.
