31ds agoA section of the Southern State Parkway between exits 36 and 37S in West Babylon reopened Sunday night after a car accident forced a shut down of all lanes.
State police say a car left the roadway and went into a wooded area around 2 p.m.
It was not clear as of Sunday night what caused the accident or how many people were injured.
