Hojin Lee is a member of the Port Jefferson's Middle School's junior varsity wrestling team. He also suffers from Down syndrome.
On March 10, Lee wrestled his first opponent, 13-year-old Tim Delgado of the Center Moriches wrestling team.
Before the match, the Port Jefferson Royals wrestling coach Doug Lotten asked Delgado if he would wrestle Lee, but let him win.
He says when Lee won, the whole crowd went wild, even the opposing team.
Lotten says he's noticed Lee's confidence is much higher after the big win.
