Pop-up site in Westbury aims to ensure equal distribution of COVID-19 vaccine

A total of 500 Moderna shots were available by appointment only Saturday at St. Brigid Our Lady of Hope School in Westbury – part of an effort aimed at vaccinating those in minority communities.

A total of 500 Moderna shots were available by appointment only Saturday at St. Brigid Our Lady of Hope School in Westbury – part of an effort aimed at vaccinating those in minority communities.
Nassau County's Office of Hispanic Affairs, community leaders and Northwell Health's Equity Task Force identified vulnerable communities and distributed the vaccine accordingly.
News 12’s Logan Crawford was there to speak with those getting shots, as well as county leaders.
