A new poll shows that Long Islanders favor Donald Trump by far in the pack of Republican presidential candidates.
The latest News 12/Newsday/Siena College poll shows that Trump leads the GOP candidates with almost 50 percent of support from Long Islanders.
The survey shows that his closest competitors are Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who tied for 12 percent.
Gov. Chris Christie endorsed Trump today ahead of Super Tuesday next week.
News 12 spoke with voters in Bethpage today, where support for Trump was strong.
