Police say a woman was killed following a stabbing in Coram Saturday afternoon.

Officers say they received a call reporting an injured woman. They say the incident occurred on the front lawn of a home on Hartford Drive.

Authorities say when they arrived at the scene, they found 27-year-old Meghan Kiefer injured. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
