Police: Woman stabbed man in front of 11-month-old child

Detectives say 27-year-old
Diana Alcivar Torres got into an argument with the 28-year-old victim in front
of their child.
The incident happened inside
their home on Dunwood Road.
Police say the argument
escalated and Alcivar Torres grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the
leg.
When the victim tried to call
911, police say she took his phone from him.
The victim was able to drive
himself to the hospital.
Alcivar Torres is facing a slew of charges including assault, weapons possession and child endangerment.
Alcivar Torres was released and signed a stay away order of protection to stay away from her husband.
