Police: Westchester man faces hit-and-run charged for hitting cyclist in New Hyde Park

The victim suffered injuries to his right elbow and arm.

A westchester man is facing hit-and-run charges for allegedly striking a bicyclist in New Hyde Park.
Police say Hanser Marte-Fernandez hit the cyclist at the intersection of Jasmine Avenue and Terrace Boulevard before fleeing on WEdnesday.
The victim suffered injuries to his right elbow and arm.
Marte-Fernandez was issued a ticket to appear in court today.
