Police: West Babylon woman, 21, fatally stabbed on New Year's Day

A Brooklyn man is accused in the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old West Babylon woman outside of her home on Chelsea Avenue.

A Brooklyn man is accused in the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old West Babylon woman outside of her home on Chelsea Avenue.
Police say 24-year-old Kisjonne Campbell-Anderson went to visit the West Babylon home of 21-year-old Michaelle Jaccis. An argument between the two ensued and then became physical.
Jaccis was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Campbell-Anderson was charged with second-degree murder. He was scheduled to be arraigned Sunday. It is the first reported murder of the new year in Suffolk County.
The incident took place in the middle of the afternoon Saturday shortly after 1:30 p.m. Investigators were inside Jaccis's house gathering evidence.
