A West Babylon man is accused of driving while intoxicated and driving in the wrong direction on Sunrise Highway.

Police say 24-year-old Jose Espinoza-Silva was driving in the westbound lanes of Sunrise Highway just before 5 a.m. Saturday when he crashed into two vehicles and then a guardrail near Exit 40 in North Babylon.

Two passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries while two others declined treatment.

Authorities say Espinoza-Silva was not injured and has been charged with driving while intoxicated. He is expected to be arraigned in Central Islip.
