Police: Threat at Willow Road Elementary School deemed not credible

Officials say a school in the Valley Stream School District went into lockdown this morning due to a threat that was later deemed not credible.
The superintendent of schools says shortly after students arrived at Willow Road Elementary School this morning, the main office received a call saying there was a person outside with a firearm.
News 12 has been told the school went into lockdown and three other school buildings were on a lockout.
Police responded within minutes and deemed the threat not credible.
